Well the winds have calmed down significantly today compared to the last two days which has made for a great inshore bite!
Captain Alex and Mate Jesus took out Don & Valerie Senter and their friends Rita & Tom Montgomery. Long time RedRum clients we were glad to see their smiling faces back in our office and on our boats! They headed out towards Golden Gate on the Pacific side about a mile from shore where they were able to catch 9 Yellowtail! And BIG ones too! The Rapala lures were catching them like crazy and those 30-35 pound beasts were giving them quite a fight. These Dallas folks were happy with their catch and are excited to be dining with their catch on a platter at Misiones de Kino.
A sweet couple Levi and Holly headed out with Ramon on ReelRum. Coming down from British Columbia they were excited to be on the warm waters. Fishing also in the Golden Gate area about a mile from shore they were able to reel in one good sized Yellowtail!
We had Mark & Sharon Pretzer head out with Captain Javier on RumRunnin after arriving on their Carnival cruise boat. They stayed inshore along Migrino at Margarita and were able to pull in 6 Skip Jacks weighing around 15 pounds each. Not a bad day despite coming in early after feeling a bit under the weather. Looking forward to having you guys back on the water again soon!
Thanks for reading!
