Hey guys! The bite is still good along the inshore for Yellowtail, Sierra and Skip Jack. We have not heard much by way of offshore Pacific side for the Marlin and Yellowfin, however, we did have one boat get lucky by heading out there this weekend, read on……
Rich and Elizabeth Schneider, Scott and Stephanie Herman, and Sarah and Menard Doswell all friends down for a couple of days of fishing went out Thursday with just the boys on ReelRum and caught 25 Sierra (Spanish Mackerel). On Friday the whole gang was out with Captain Alex and Mate Jesus still inshore fishing, they boated 6 Yellowtail and 20 more Sierra. They enjoyed their catch at Missiones de Kino after going on a wine & cheese sunset cruise.
Susan Klock and Norm Smith were at it again after coming back in on Wednesday due to the wind and huge swells out on the water. They stayed on the inshore and fished with Captain Manuel and Mate Edgar. They ended up having a great day boating 5 big Yellowtail and 3 Sierra. We are glad they were able to fill up a cooler to take home.
Kyle Leland and his crew were off on RedRum for a 1/2 day of fishin’ with Omar and Americo. They came back in after having caught 12 Sierra.
Paul Iacuele and buddy were off on ReelRum for a full day with Ramon and Juan. They were successful, bringing back 3 Yellowtail and 3 Sierra.
Andrew Kocisky, Zach Barrie and Paul Chrobch went out on RumRunnin with Jesus 2 & 3, Andrew said they “loved it” and would definitely be back. They caught 3 Yellowtail and 12 Sierra. They enjoyed their fresh catch for lunch, right around the corner, at Mango Cantina.
On Saturday, the Bradley’s were out on El Nuevo with Cappy Alex and Manuel. They boated 2 Yellowtail and 8 Sierra.
Baune, party of 4 were out on Shambala, 60′ Hatteras for a full day with Captain T.J. These guys tried their luck on the offshore Pacific side about 26 miles outside 95 bank and were in luck! They had 2 Striped Marlin on the line, lost one, but were able to pull one to the boat and snap a few pictures before they released it. They also boated 5 Yellowfin Tuna. Great Job!!
Geoffrey Stephens, Jeff Rolph and Joe Geotz, three funny guys, came in ready to fish Sunday morning. They headed out on El Nuevo with Alex and Jesus. They had a great time catching 3 Yellowtail and releasing a Skip Jack. Check out Geoff with his nice size Yellowtail in the photo.
Maureen Fleming and Raymond Murray were in here for a full day of fishing on ReelRum with Captain Javier and Mate Juan. These seasoned fisherman took to the waters with high hopes. They started off on the inshore and caught a Sierra and 4 Skipjack before having to head back in due to a little sea sickness. It has been windy the past few days!
Until Next Time!
