November 4, 2008 RedRum wins WON 10th Annual Tuna Jackpot Tournament
 RedRum Sportfishing wins the 10th Annual Tuna Jackpot Tournament hosted by Western Outdoor News with a record breaking 244 lb. tuna reeled in to win 1st place! Angler Ryan Donovan takes 2 hours and 44 minutes to reel in the monster with his father John Donovan and best buddy Luis Vela by his side. Captain Omar and first mate Americo, are the crew of ReelRum, who were a big part of the big win. read more
October 2008 - 2nd Annual Black & Green Tournament!!!
Another successful year of a bunch of fun, outgoing and big hearted members from TripAdvisor, for the one and only Black & Green Tournament. The tournament hosted by RedRum and organized along with the Cabo members on TripAdvisor has taken place for the last 2 years in October. All these great people have become friends on the popular travel website TripAdvisor.com and love to fish, so they organized along with RedRum the Black & Green Tournament that this year hosted 65 people! This no entry fee 2-day tournament has become quite a fun time both on and off the water, and competitive it is, but all in good fun. We look forward to having you guys back next year!
October 2008 - RedRum and TripAdvisor Members team up to donate
Stepping up in a big way to help support local impoverished children in the Los Cabos community is RedRum and Trip Advisor members that came down for the 2nd annual Black & Green Tourney. The donation was an oversized check in the amount of $1,750 to the non-profit organization Grupo de Apoyo Ray Thomas and its soccer program, Mundo Star. This program allows both boys and girls have the chance to play soccer, supplying jerseys, kleets, a coach and organized games to compete against other schools.
