John Donovan has been fishing the waters of Cabo San Lucas since 1984 and has been instrumental in expanding the fleet over the past few years. Due to his passion and drive, the Donovan family became full time owners of RedRum in 2007 with John taking charge of overseeing the operation by spending more and more time in Cabo. He is key in the major marketing initativies, the rapid growth of the company, and creating the welcoming family atmosphere that keeps clients coming back to fish with RedRum.

Ryan Donovan been fishing in Cabo since 1999, when he first came down with his father John and some buddies from TCU, where he attended college. His competitive spirit, as shown in his participation in the Bisbee and the Western Outdoor News Tuna Tournaments, has been an asset to the organization. His most accomplished fishing feat was reeling in the 2nd largest tuna in Western Outdorr News Tuna Tournament history at a whopping 244lbs, to take the winning trophy of the 10th annual tournament alongside his dad John Donovan. Ryan's primary responsibilities are marketing and communications.

Brooke Donovan, helps to manage the sales, marketing and financial aspects of RedRum. She's been with the company since 2007 with her husband Ryan, where they live and work full time in Cabo San Lucas. She’s also in charge of the condos at Portofino and will be the one to check you in. Brooke is fluent in Spanish, has lived and worked in Guatemala for three years, serving in the Peace Corps which expanded her knowledge and understanding of the social and business culture of life south of the border. Brooke is also a graduate of TCU's Neeley School of Business.
Oh and yes, she loves to fish too.

Tiffany Meade - Office Manager, Hello, I'm Tiffany Meade. I was born in North Carolina, but have lived in Virginia, Georgia and most recently Mexico City. I moved to Mexico 3 years ago with my husband Benny, who is originally from the City and spent the last 3 years teaching English. Mexico City is great but, I'm excited to now be living in Cabo San Lucas. It is really nice getting out of the hustle and bustle of the big city. To think that I used to spend 4 hours a day commuting to and from the city is crazy. I am still learning about sport fishing and Cabo San Lucas in general, so bear with me, but I am more than happy to help in any way that I can. I handle reservations, check-ins, sales, and just about everything here in the office.

D. Bruin Donovan - Conservation Manager, I'm Dalton Bruin Donovan, but I go by Bruin and I was born on June 27, 2011. I might be little but I'm a big part of the family business. I've only been fishing these waters for a short time, but I want to fish them for my entire life. That's why my family put me in charge of conservation in the RedRum fleet. I want to be able to fish these waters with my kids and grandkids just like John, Randie, Brooke and Ryan are. I'll be working to ensure these waters are beautiful and full of fish for years to come. I encourage all clients to catch and release all Billfish. I also encourage them to release juvenille Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna and other species that can grow to be big someday. Please consider the next generation of fishermen when you are trying to fill your coolers. I know we've just met, but you'll be seeing a lot of me around the office and out on the waters. I hope to have my name in the IGFA Junior World Record book someday, too!
