Cabo San Lucas Fish Report – July 4th & 5th
Happy Independence Day all you folks from the good ol’ US of A. I sure wish I could be there for some BBQ and fireworks to help you guys celebrate, but I am stuck here in Cabo San Lucas…. :p Don’t you feel BAD for me??
Kelly Zevenbergen and crew headed out on El Nuevo for the day. They had a lot of fun, catching 2 Striped Marlins.
Robert Mitchell and Brad Hailey had an amazing day on RedRUm, they had a double hook – up with Striped MArlin and were actually able to get both to the boat and then they released a 3rd Marlin. Great day for those guys.
Ben Eisterhold and Katie Bernard were back at it after having fished inshore on a Panga Tuesday, catching only a Sierra. They had a lot better luck with Ramon on ReelRum catching some Striped Marlin!
Jenny and Matt Hunter also had a great day aboard Tantrum catching Marlin.
Luis and Andrew Coccillos fished aboard Rumrunnin for the day and they also hooked and released a Striped Marlin.
The McCarty’s fished on a partner boat for a full day and caught and released a nice sized Striped Marlin.
The catch of the day came form one of our partner boats with Captain Antonio at the helm. The Mainieros and Lew Improta killed it, catching 6 Marlin and releasing all but one, which died in the fight. Now, THAT was a day CATCHING fish….
July 5th was another Striped Marlin day, with Boa Tran and his group on Big Papi catching a Striped Marlin and Alex Koblansky and buddies also releasing a Striped MArlin, they fished on the ReelRUm.
The Morley’s on the Marlin Queen caught and released 2 Striped Marlin, as did the White’s that were on board RumRunnin with the Jesus’s. Ali Ghotbi and his buddies shared the same luck with his buddies fishing abord one of our partner boats, 2 Striped Marlin.
Tommy Moore, Nick DeArman, Jim and Thomas Gibbons and Mike and Nicole Sekits fished aboard 50′ Viking Fearless with Captain Benito and they Slayed it! They caught and released 4 Striped Marlin.
Two of our boats found some Yellowfin Tuna out there, Mike Ludwig and his son boated 10 Yellowfin and released 2 Striped Marlin – what a day!! The Wiggingtons also got into a TON of Tuna, boating 17.
Let’s hope those Tuna stick around!! Thanks for reading!
