Cabo San Lucas Fish Report – June 27

Today the water was nice out on the Cortez side and most of our boats headed that way, out by the Gordo Banks to do their fishing.

John Castaneda and buddy Andy Mally headed out on ReelRum for a full day with Captain Ramon and Mate Juan. They had a great day, catching 2 Dorado and releasing a Striped Marlin.

Doug Roth and his family, Ellis, Shane, Marsha, Kayla and oh yeah, we can’t forget Brian Baugh the “black sheep”. This was a really fun group ready to go out and have lots of fun. The set out on the Marlin Queen with Captain Chito. They did not have a lot of luck but Kayla managed to reel in a big 45 pound Dorado that they had cooked up for dinner.

Joe and Stuart Moyle along with Harry Schmaltz were back at it again today with Captain Alex and Mate Jesus 2 aboard El Nuevo. They were pleased with their day, with Joe catching and releasing a Striped Marlin. Harry also caught a sea turtle, but asked me not to tell anyone… HEHE.

Lastly, we did have a casualty today, Vinne Jones and Tony Allan started their day at 10:00, maybe they had to be “early birds” to catch their fish, but Vinne asked when booking the boat, “Is there another 6.30 in the day?”. He did NOT want to know what 6.30 AM looked like! Maybe next time!

Thanks for reading.
