Cabo San Lucas Fish Report – Sept. 10 & 11

Happy Monday 🙂 It is always a happy Monday in Cabo! It was a great day on the water today, the fish are a little farther out, we are having to travel about 28 miles offshore for the best bite.

Chris Smith and Mark Hahn set out this AM aboard ReelRum with Ramon and Juan. They had and exceptional day of fishing catching their limit of 10 Yellowfin, Chris caught the biggest at around 30lbs. Mark hooked into a Sailfish but lost it before he could get it to the boat.

Shawn Sullivan and Rich Quinlan were out on RedRum with Omar and Americo for the full day. They too caught their limit in Yellowfin and also caught and released a Sailfish.

Darryl Bayne and Lisa Rabon set out on El Nuevo for the day with Captain Alex and Mate Jesus. They had a lot of fun with Lisa catching & releasing her first ever billfish, a Sail and together catching 5 Yellowfin.

Rick and Ashley Gerla had an extraordinary day aboard RumRunnin with the Jesus’s. They EACH caught and released a Sailfish, Ashley’s was the biggest at around 120lbs. They caught 3 Yellowfin, 4 Bonita and a Dorado. Awesome day!!

The Brownsberger party with Aric & Kyle Brownsberger, Brandon Bigelow and Clint Baxter headed out on El Nuevo Redrum for their first of FOUR days fishing this Monday. These guys had the best luck today, catching 14 Yellowfin, a Dorado and Clint caught a nice 120lb Sail.

My southern friends hailing from Jacksonville, FL, Heather and David Dostie started their first of two days fishing aboard Big Papi. They had a Blue Marlin hooked, but lost it – it was nothing compared to the last time Heather caught a Blue over 700lbs! They also caught 3 Yellowfin Tuna.

John Hartmann, Joe Bilotta and David Delauder took off on RedRum for the second time with Omar & Americo. They did not have as much luck this time around, but still boated 5 Yellowfin.

Lastly, we had Gina Fant and Glenn Taylor aboard ReelRum for a 1/2 day trip. They did not have much luck as the good fishing is just too far off right now. They did manage to catch a Bonita, so at least they did not have to leave skunked!
